Terms of service

Last updated 12 June 2026 · effective on that date

1. The service

KIT ENGINE accepts a brief, resolves it into a plan, runs that plan across approved generative models, verifies the output and delivers files to you. It is a production service, not a model provider: the models it routes to are third parties, listed in the sub-processor disclosure, and may change with notice.

2. Your account

You are responsible for who you invite and what they spend. Roles are enforced by the product: a commenter cannot commit credits, and an approval carries the name of the person who gave it. Spend limits and approval thresholds are yours to set.

3. Credits and billing

A credit is a unit of finished work, prepaid, and one credit is one US dollar of that work at list. Before a run starts, KIT ENGINE reserves the estimated credits; when it finishes, the reservation settles and the remainder returns to your balance. A deliverable you reject at verdict is not billed. Credits do not expire: they stay in your account until you spend them, on every plan, and are refundable pro rata on termination. The only thing that removes them is deleting the account, which removes the workspace and everything in it.

4. What you own

You own the deliverables KIT ENGINE produces for you, outright, on delivery, including the right to modify, distribute and use them commercially. KIT ENGINE takes no licence in your output beyond what is needed to deliver, store and verify it, and does not use your briefs, uploads or deliverables to train any model.

5. What you warrant

That you hold the rights to everything you upload, and consent for any identifiable person in it. KIT ENGINE records your attestation, which does not override our policies: an attestation cannot unlock a refused request.

6. Availability and failure

Where a provider fails, KIT ENGINE surfaces the failure with routes: retry, route to the approved fallback, drop the step, or stop. A failed call is never billed. We do not warrant uninterrupted service, and our aggregate liability is capped at the credits you spent in the twelve months before the claim.

7. Termination

Either side may terminate with 30 days' written notice, and we may terminate immediately for the conduct in the acceptable use policy. On termination you can export your deliverables and their disclosure records for 30 days. Audit records survive deletion, as described in the privacy policy.

8. Changes

We will give 30 days' notice of any change that reduces your rights, and the previous version stays available for comparison. Continued use after that date is acceptance.
