Accessibility statement
Standard and scope
This statement covers kit.studio and the KIT ENGINE product. We measure against WCAG 2.2 level AA using automated checks in continuous integration and manual keyboard, screen reader and zoom passes each release. It was last reviewed in July 2026.
What works today
Every path that spends credits (write a brief, run it, read the verdict, approve or reject) is operable by keyboard alone and announced by VoiceOver, NVDA and JAWS. Focus order follows reading order, focus is always visible, text reflows to 400% without loss of content, and no interaction depends on colour alone or on a drag gesture.
Known gaps
The production timeline conveys some state through motion; a text equivalent is in progress for Q4 2026. Live provider-incident notices announce late for screen reader users. Some generated preview thumbnails have no meaningful alternative text yet, because a description is only trustworthy once verified, pending that, the caption carries the essential information.
Generated output
KIT ENGINE does not write alt text on your behalf for published assets. Deliverables export with the brief text, which is a useful starting point for a human-written description, not a substitute for one.
Reaching a person
Write to [email protected]. We reply within two working days, and where a barrier blocks work we will run the step with you rather than ask you to wait for a release. Documents on this page are available in large print, plain text or as tagged PDF on request.
Escalation
If our response does not resolve it, you can escalate to the equality body in your jurisdiction. We will provide our test records to support that process rather than contest it.
